I owe my happiness and much of my professional success to Mike Yates, as many of us do.ĭeepest condolences to the family.
He was a one man Integration team, moving systems with the truck, setting them up. He worked at E& S for 23 years and was currently working at L-3 Communications. Mike was the Secret engine of success at E&S through the 90's, more so than any other person. Michael Yates, loving husband, father, son and friend passed away unexpectedly from cardiac failure at the age of 48.Mike was born in Salt Lake City on Augto James and Evelyn Yates.Mike graduated from Viewmont High School in 1978. Other people have eHarmony or random luck, we had Mike Yates. He was right, we married in 1997, he was the best man, and we've been happy ever since. He felt enriched by meeting different types of people all over the world.Īnd he loved to Golf. Mike loved people of all sorts, whether he could converse with them or not. He loved seeing the places, but more so meeting the people.
He could work a 16 hour day lifting panels, lugging cables, finishing fiberglass, wrenching anything, and could run me into the ground.Īnd him and Clare put up F-16 and other Simulators across the other half of the known world, Turkey, Belgium, Nederlands, and the rest of central Europe.

Him and I put up 24' F-16 Simulator domes and systems across half the known world, Taiwan, Indonesia, Spain, UK, Korea (with Bud). Mike Yates was the hardest working person I have ever known in my life.
